Courteous Customer Service!
December 30, 2013,
Great Customer Service! We were upgraded from 2 Queen Bed Deluxe to 1 King Bed Premier View-AP, for 2 Adults and 2 Kids. Exceeded Room Capacity?! Good thing our 2nd kid is a Toddler so we're able to sleep together. Gave feedback regarding Front Desk "error" and shorthanded during late night check in the following day. Was waiting so long on phone lines etc. Ronald Gonzalez, the Front Desk Manager immediately responded and apologized and made nice gesture by giving us complimentary valet parking. Most employee are courteous and kids love the place!

The Intercontinental is fantastic. I was received well, setup in a great room with an awesome view and had the most courteous and welcoming staff attend to my every request.
Very Nice...

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was just as advertised and we loved being able to walk everywhere. We will stay here on our next visit to The City.
Shower wouldn't drain
Shower wouldn't drain

Stayed three nights and the shower never drained properly. My initial report of the problem was probably lost as they were busy. Nothing wrong with the room other than that one sort of yucky problem I got to expoerience every morning.
Welcome home
February 17, 2013,
My wife and I originally booked a room at another hotel that could be best described as "juvenile", and more style than substance. Our options were limited and so when we found space available, we jumped at the chance to stay here. From the moment we stepped into the main lobby, we knew that our prayers had been answered. A bright and well appointed lobby greeted us along with the courteous and knowledgeable staff. My wife Laura was especially impressed with the stylish and well stocked lobby bar, and I was very appreciative of the well laid out design. Our room was just off of the elevators and easily nearly double the size of our previous hotel room. It was both spacious, equally well appointed and comfortable as the lobby and made us feel as if we had just arrived home. Our 28th floor room had an unobstructed, unparalleled view of SF's SoMa area with views of the bay city life below. The concierge "Bill" rendered excellent service on more than one occasion, helping me to find replacement eyeglasses and to give us his honest and well appreciated opinion about where to have brunch. Both of us loved the fitness center and pool and in the future, will make sure that when our travels bring us back to San Francisco, the Intercontinental will be our first and best choice of places to stay.
